Review Close Reading, then have them read the Organic Foods and Cancer Article. Follow the three reads of Close Reading and the annotating (note taking) from Close Reading. Finally, have students write a 5-7 sentence summary of the article. Remember summaries are only facts, they do not put their opinions in a summary.
