Fusion is the First-Year Experience (FYE) program at Pacific Union College that strives to bring together diverse first-year students, strengthening them individually and unifying them collectively as PUC's new freshman class. Fusion is designed to support your development as successful lifelong learners, and to provide social, emotional, and spiritual support as you transition into college life and integrate into the PUC community — one that seeks to Learn with Purpose, Rise in Faith, and Serve with Love.

A foundational part of the Fusion FYE program is GNST 101-Frontiers, a 1-credit course designed to help new students learn about and engage with PUC's Institutional Student Learning Outcomes and Core Competencies.  All first-year students will be enrolled in Frontiers which begins at Fusion Orientation and continues throughout fall quarter.

Fusion Orientation kicks off the the Fusion program and runs from Wednesday, September 20, through Saturday, September 23.  Whether you are living in a campus residence hall or commuting from off campus, all first-year freshmen are expected to fully participate in Fusion Orientation. Activities are scheduled from morning to evening each day. The schedule for the first day, Welcome Day, is below and the full schedule will be available at check-in on Welcome Day.
