Each year, the EPSA Annual Congress brings together over 300 future pharmacists and newly graduated.
This event is recognised as the largest gathering of pharmacy students at the European level.
Each Congress consist of:
High-level scientific symposia and workshops on current pharmaceutical and healthcare topics
Soft skills training sessions, career development events, and company-led case studies
Student-led policy and advocacy discussions shaping the future of pharmacy
A diverse social and cultural program that fosters cross-cultural understanding
The 46th edition will take place from April 13th to 19th, 2026.
The event will emphasize a broad spectrum of prevention strategies, highlighting pharmacists’ responsibilities beyond traditional dispensing roles. Topics will include:
Infectious Disease Prevention Across Pharmacy Sectors: Pharmacists play a key role in vaccination delivery (e.g. flu, COVID-19, travel vaccines), hygiene education, infection control, and combating misinformation. Their contributions span community, hospital, industrial, and public health settings — from direct patient counseling to national immunisation strategies.
Women’s Health: Focusing on preventive care in women’s health, including early diagnosis and management of breast cancer, and education around contraception and reproductive health.
Cancer Prevention Support: Highlighting how pharmacists can contribute to cancer prevention through patient counseling, risk assessment, and awareness campaigns.
Social Media for Public Health: Discussing how digital platforms can be powerful tools for health education and awareness, and how pharmacists can harness social media to fight misinformation and promote preventive care.
By redefining their role, pharmacists can become frontline advocates for healthier societies — helping to bridge gaps in access to information, prevention services, and healthcare equity.
