Using your Poetry writing pack as a guide (particularly the assessment rubric) create a detailed Mind Map to explore your sonnet topic in depth. Then, begin drafting your sonnet. No need to write the Commentary yet- that can be done in class next week. Use today's class time to work in isolation, without computer (music & headphones are permitted if you wish), using a dictionary or thesaurus, to make draft one of your properly structured Shakespearean sonnet on a topic related to either love or nature.
