Registration for Incoming 6th Graders

During the Spring of a student's 5th grade year a presentation will be made at the elementary school by the middle school counselors. Students will be given a chance to register for their choice of elective class at that time for their entrance to 6th grade.

Registration for 7th Grade

During the Spring of a student's 6th grade year a presentation will be made in class on the elective class options for 7th grade.

Students will be given a chance at that time to register their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices for elective classes for the upcoming school year.

Some classes will require an application and an interview which will have to be completed.

Registration for 8th Grade

During the Spring of a student's 7th grade year a presentation will be made in class on the elective class options for 8th grade.

Students will be given a chance at that time to register their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices for elective classes for the upcoming school year.

Some classes will require an application and an interview which will have to be completed.

Elective Class Choices - Elective classes change every year so there may be changes to what is currently offered at NCMS.

A special instruction will is posted on the counseling google classroom for 7th and 8th graders wanting to choose Teacher’s Aide or Office Aide as their elective choice.
The following elective classes may require an application and interview: ASB, AVID and Yearbook. Please refer to email when selecting these classes as an elective choice.
