My name is Angela, but I go by Carmen. In 2022, I began my career as a special education paraprofessional health, a role I held for almost two years. In 2023, I was accepted into the first cohort at Alder Graduate School of Education. During that time, I had the opportunity to work alongside an elementary special education teacher, through which I earned a credential in Special Education and a Master's Degree in Education. Currently, I teach 9th–10th grade Living Earth and Chemistry at Rancho Mirage High School.
