The Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management has existed since 2004 and continues to grow with our amazing faculty, students, and alumni. This department takes great pride in its history and achievement in successfully preparing students for exciting careers in the hospitality industry.
Our curriculum equips students with the knowledge and necessary skills to perform professionally and become leaders in the hospitality industry. The dynamic field of hospitality demand dynamic industry actors who will heighten the value of the services they offer. Globalization in the sector necessitates the hiring of exceptional people with top-notch skills that are respected globally. With this, the Palawan State University Coron campus is submitting the hospitality management program through accreditation process that involves assessing different areas: Leadership and Governance, Quality Assurance Resource, Management, Teaching-Learning Student Services, External Relations, Research, and Results. The interrelationship among these areas is vital in ensuring the school's programs are of quality towards achieving the school's vision and mission. The team of experts that helped us in our search will always be appreciated by the program; this journey was in fact not a one-man show. We promise to continuously strive for greatness going forward and to get ready for any obstacles that may come our way.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management program is a comprehensive and dynamic educational pathway designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed for success in the hospitality industry. This program encompasses a wide range of disciplines, including hotel management, restaurant management, event planning, tourism, and customer service. Through a combination of classroom instruction, hands-on training, and real-world internships, students learn to manage and lead in various hospitality settings. They gain a deep understanding of industry trends, guest satisfaction, financial management, and sustainable practices. Graduates of this program are well-prepared for careers in hotels, resorts, restaurants, event venues, and tourism agencies, with the ability to excel in roles such as hotel manager, event coordinator, restaurant owner, or tourism consultant. The BS in Hospitality Management program offers a diverse and exciting educational journey for those looking to thrive in the ever-evolving hospitality sector.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
Demonstrate knowledge of tourism industry, local tourism products and services;
Interpret and apply relevant laws related to tourism industry;
Observe and perform risk mitigation activities;
Utilize information technology applications for tourism and hospitality;
Manage and market a service-oriented business organization;
Demonstrate administrative and managerial skills in a service-oriented business organization;
Prepare and monitor industry specific financial transactions and reports;
Perform human capital development functions of a tourism oriented organization; and
Utilize various communication channels proficiently in dealing with guests and colleagues.
