Welcome to AtLANTIC and PACIFIC Class

Welcome to Year 5

Hello and welcome to Year 5!

This year we will be covering topics such as; the Ancient Greeks, the invasion and settlement of the Romans in Britain, the Anglo-Saxons and Vikings; in addition to the USA, the Mediterranean and Bath. In Science, we will explore Electricity, Habitats, States of Matter, and look into where all our food goes. This links fantastically to our topics in Geography on World Kitchen, where we will look at the origins of our food and the roles of workers within those supply chains, and in Design and Technology, we will be exploring Seasonal Foods.

Overall, we're in for a fantastic year with some exciting opportunities, such as Mini Police and Bistro Buddies, to make Year 5 a great year.
