This course is designed to help students develop an understanding of fundamental economic principles. It seeks to promote curiosity and appreciation of economic concepts and issues in the micro and macro levels as it relates to real-life events such as the current covid-19 pandemic. It also includes a brief look at entrepreneurship concepts and principles as it may add value to science and technology researches.
Hopefully, this course will help students apply what they have learned in Economics to make practical decisions in life, think critically about socio-economic phenomena, practice good stewardship, and make a difference.
