Biology 3 is an inquiry-based course that focuses on the development of practical skills as it surveys the organisms of the various domains and kingdoms, with special emphasis on their distinct and unifying characteristics in systematics, cellular organization, and energetics. It also explores the impact of human activity on biodiversity and allows students to build upon prior knowledge when recognizing problems and proposing solutions.

Biology 3 employs inquiry-based laboratory and field investigations as well as instruction methods that focus on building content knowledge through appropriate and accessible learning materials (readings, videos, journal articles, worksheets, simulations, discussions, self-assessments, reflections, games, etc.).
To complement onsite instruction, we also utilize online platforms such as KHub and Google Classroom.
