PBIS stands for Positive Behavior Incentives and Supports. 

At its core, to build a strong school community. It does this through setting clear expectations for students and staff, providing positive feedback on an individual, classroom and school wide level, and establishing support when needed to students, families, and faculty. 

A teacher run committee meets monthly to plan and implement all of these aspects. Two years ago PTA was given the opportunity to have a parent representative on the committee and now we are able to assist in the planning and provide funding to all of the PBIS events that help make PSE a wonderful place to be.
