The first day drop off can be hard, some would say filled with tears... and cheers.
The PTA is here to help make it a little easier with a Tears and Cheers Breakfast with refreshments for parents after that difficult good-bye.
Come see us outside near the Kinder drop off area at the front of the school. We will have coffee, drinks and some grab and go breakfast options.

National Walk and Bike to School Day
Our first Walk and Roll event of the year is scheduled for Wednesday, 10/9. We need volunteers to lead meetupgroups from Hunters Chase and Rattan Creek Parks as well as help distributing prizes to students on campus.

What: Treats, Games & Trunk Decorating Contest.
Who: Everyone in PSE community. Middle & high school students are welcome to help for volunteer hours.

1. We are asking for donations of gift cards of your choosing in the amount of $10. (see Staff Favs List.)
Each staff member will get to choose what is special to them.
You can drop off physical gift card donations at 12700 Tantara Dr. in the box on the front porch.
2. No time to pick up a card? You can donate to the PTA https://ch2v-9faf61.givebacks.com/store/items/994920
We will use those funds to purchase them for you!
Please donate by Friday, 12/13 so we can purchase the remaining cards.

3. In addition to the fun of getting a gift card we would like to stock the lounge with some sweet treats

Mandatory Rehearsal: 4/3 (TH)
Rehearsal is mandatory and will be held on Thursday, April 3rd at 4:30 p.m in the Deer Park Middle School cafeteria. Please plan to arrive in full costume with all your props/equipment.

We are inviting 5th grade students to Emcee (introduce acts). All emcee's must have

a workshop during the school day (more info to follow)

Rule of Thumb
This is a family event. All acts must be appropriate for all ages. Please carefully review lyrics of songs to make sure there are no offensive words or phrases. No inappropriate clothing or gestures.
To ensure everyone gets a chance to perform, please limit to one performances per student at a maximum of 1.5 - 2 minutes.

We want to reward them with one final celebration-WATER DAY!!
But SHHHHH, students will not find out what their reward is until they fill up their final school brag board...We are SO close!!!
We need YOUR help to make this special day happen!

Grades will be grouped K-2 and 3-5 and we also need a set up and clean up crew!
Remember that if you are signing up to volunteer, you are there to run the station only and need to stay at that station for the duration of your time slot.
