Gym Shoes Reminder
Please be sure to remind your child to wear running shoes on days they come to P.E. class. It's SUPER important for their safety.
P.E. Schedule:
1:45 - 2:35 p.m.
Thursdays - Bergeron
Fridays - Withrow
Demonstrate basic locomotor and non-locomtore skills.
Demonstrate rhythmic and cross-lateral movements.
Demonstrate fundamental manipulative skills.
Jump ropes, scarves, hoops and balls.
Throwing and catching activities.
Identify the body's normal reactions to moderate and vigorous physical activity.
Introduce muscles of the body: push ups, curl ups, planks, mountain climbers.
Dance and rhythmic movement.
Work independently and with others to complete work.
Follow the rules of an activity.
Introduce team activities.
Develop movement control for safe participation in games and physical activities
Demonstrate safety practices in general spaces
Follow verbal and nonverbal instruction
