FFA Members can apply for the following awards in the chapter:
Award List
Letters - All members who completed the Star level and complete the letter application will be awarded their letter.
DEKALB - The advisors will nominate a senior member for the DEKALB award. No application needed. DEKALB is pleased to recognize these select students for their hard work, dedication and passion for pursuing a fulfilling career in agriculture. These students demonstrate promising young talent and are the rising stars of agriculture.
Chapter Scholarships/Work Scholarship: -Seniors who completed the chapter scholarship application and turned it in, will receive their scholarships. Application already submitted.
Dutch Carwin - The officer team can choose to nominate a senior member who has been outstanding at the state level for the Dutch Carwin award. The officer team will nominate and submit to state.
Star Completer- Any member who signed up to be a Star level member and meet all the minimum qualifications for the star level. No application needed.
Gold Completer - Any member who signed up to be a Gold level member and meet all the minimum qualifications for a gold level. No application needed.
Blue Completer - Any member who signed up to be a Blue level member and meet all the minimum qualifications for the blue level. No application needed.
Top 10 Star - The top ten members in points in the star level. Points are determined by FFA attendance and Advisor points. No application needed.
Top 10 Gold- The top ten members in points in the gold level. Points are determined by FFA attendance and Advisor points. No application needed.
Top 10 Blue - The top ten members in points in the blue level. Points are determined by FFA attendance and Advisor points. No application needed
Class Leaders - Members will vote during class on who they think is a leader in their grade level. A leader is someone who inspires members to be the best they can be. A leader attends FFA events and represents the chapter to a high standard. No application needed.
Greenhand Degree- Members who have meet the minimum requirement for the green hand degree, and complete the Greenhand degree application.
Chapter Degree - Members who have meet the minimum requirement for the Chapter degree, and complete the chapter degree application.
State Degree - Members who submitted their state degrees to the state level and were awarded their degree, and completed the state degree application and submitted it to the state. Application already submitted.
Proficiency Chapter - Members who completed immersion SAE proficiency and completed the proficiency application for the chapter level. Members need to use AET to complete their proficiency application and submit it by the chapter awards deadlines.
Proficiency State Level - Members who completed proficiency and submitted them to the state level. Application already submitted.
Foundation SAE Project Completion - Member who completed their Foundation SAE award application. Members will need to use AET to complete the proficiency application.
Grants - Members who completed and were awarded grants for their SAEs from the Colorado FFA association. Application already submitted.
Creed Speakers - Members who spoke at the chapter and district speaking contest in the Creed speaking event. This will be given out to all that spoke no application needed.
Quiz Bowl contestants - Members who competed at district quiz bowl contest, will be recognized no application needed.
Exempt speakers - Members who spoke at the chapter and district speaking contest in the this speaking event. This will be given out to all that spoke no application needed.
Prepared speakers- Members who spoke at the chapter and district speaking contest in the this speaking event. This will be given out to all that spoke no application needed.
Livestock Participants - Any member who completed 10 practices in this CDE will receive this award, no application needed.
Livestock District/State Team - Any member who competed at a CDE event will receive this award, no application needed.
Floriculture participants - Any member who completed 10 practices in this CDE will receive this award, no application needed.
Floriculture district/State Team - Livestock District/State Team - Any member who competed at a CDE event will receive this award, no application needed.
Employable Skills participants - Any member who completed all assigned work and meet at least 5 times with adviosr. No application needed. .
Employable Skills district/state team - Members who competed in the job interview contest will be awarded. No application needed.
Horse Evaluation participants - Any member who completed 10 practices in this CDE will receive this award, no application needed.
Horse Evaluation district/state team - Any member who competed at a CDE event will receive this award, no application needed.
Vet Science participants - Any member who completed 10 practices in this CDE will receive this award, no application needed.
Vet Science - Any member who competed at a CDE event will receive this award, no application needed.
Blue and Gold - The chapter officer team will meet and decided on community members who have shown support for the chapter over the past year. If any member has someone they would like to nominate they can talk to Mrs Nelson. No application needed.
Honorary Chapter Degree - The chapter officer team will nominate community members who have already received the Blue and Gold award. Parents of senior officers will also receive this award. No application needed.
Sponsors - All sponsor and donors will receive recognizing at the banquet. No application needed.
Parent Thank You - Members will be thanking their parents for their support. No application needed.
New Officer - All new officers will be installed and receive their officer pens. Members need to complete the officer application and attend officer interviews on April 25th.
Retiring officer - All senior officers who retiring will receive a thank you gift. No application needed.
Advisory Committee - All members of the advisory committee will be thanked. No application needed.
Spoons champion - The chapter will recognize the winner of the chapters holiday spoons champion. No application needed.
Member Sale - All members who sold in the member auction will be recognized. No application needed.
Chapter Scholar -The chapter will award the 2 highest GPA's in each grade level for the outstanding work. No application needed.
Senior Graduation Sash - All senior members who have completed two years as a Star member will receive a sash. No application needed.
Top Ticket Seller- Member who sales the most tickets
Top Sponsor whispers - Member who brings in the most money from sponsors and member who brings in the highest number of sponsors.
Agri Science - Members who completed the Agri Science fair
Oyster Fry Worker outstanding - The officer team picks members who worked above and beyond at oyster fry.
Top Ticket Salesman - member who sales the most tickets to oyster fry
