Supervised Agricultural Experience

Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAE) is a student-led, instructor supervised, work-based learning experience that results in measurable outcomes within a predefined, agreed upon set of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources (ANFR) Technical Standards and Career Ready Practices aligned to a career plan of study.

Foundational SAE

Members of the Poudre FFA work on Foundational SAE's through their Introduction to Agriculture and Agriculture Science classes. These SAE's have students create a portfolio about the career they are interested in. It will encourage members to work on creating skills and gaining knowledge that will help them pursue the career of their choosing.

Immersion SAE

Immersion SAE's are conducted outside of the classroom these SAE's fall into five areas. These SAE's require students to keep records of hours, money and skills gained. These SAE's are used to apply for awards in the FFA. Below you can find information about state degrees and proficiency awards.
