The Pillars of Excellence initiative is providing students and staff with behavioral expectations articulating the attributes that all Lambkins should exhibit: Acceptance, Pride, Integrity, Respect, and Responsibility. Our entire staff recognizes students and adults who exemplify positive behaviors by handing out "pillars." Students should drop off the pillar in the main office where they will receive a small token. Additionally, these coupons are randomly drawn weekly and the selected people are publicly recognized and receive a prize. The consistent reinforcement of the qualities and behaviors representing the Pillars of Excellence make FCHS a place where not only is excellence expected, but where excellence is taught, modeled, and rewarded.Â
Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is an evidence-based three-tiered framework to improve and integrate all of the data, systems, and practices affecting student outcomes every day. PBIS creates schools where all students succeed
