College Trigonometry is a trigonometry course designed for students who intend to take Calculus. It is a dual enrollment course with CU Succeed; students can earn CU Denver credit for MATH 1120.
College Trig is a challenging college-level course that exposes students to brand new mathematical concepts. It's important to get help early and often, as this class moves very quickly and topics build on each other. Students should expect to do roughly 30-60 minutes of homework every day.
All information for this class (syllabus, notes, calendars, etc.) is on Google Classroom. If you miss class, check Google Classroom first!
Come to Office Hours in the Bridge on Even Days! This is a great place to ask questions in a smaller and quieter environment. Bring a friend! There are usually a handful of students who you can collaborate with.
Follow the directions on Google Classroom to access our textbook. I do not follow the textbook exactly, but it has more practice problems. It also helps to practice reading a textbook as you prepare to go to college.
Below is a link to topic videos. These don't always follow our class exactly, but they're a great resource if you missed class, want extra practice, or just want to hear/see something again.
