Algebra 1 is a critical foundation for all future high school math courses, providing the essential skills and concepts students must master to succeed in more advanced topics. Because of the depth and rigor of the material, success in this course demands perseverance, consistent engagement, and diligence—especially outside of the classroom. Students are expected to take responsibility for their learning by actively engaging with challenging material and committing to practice beyond their comfort zone.
