Help everyone stay healthy with social distancing. Stand 6 feet from your family and keep your hands in your own personal space.
Game Set-Up
• Stand 6 feet across from a partner.
Game Instructions:
• The object of Balance Pose game is to win as many balancing matches as you can while holding different balance poses.
• On the start signal, choose a balance pose. Players hold the pose as long as they can. The winner is the one who balances the longest. It’s okay if you and your partner choose different poses to begin the game.
• For the next match, the player who wins gets to choose the pose that both players will hold while playing. Continue until you hear the stop signal.
Have fun!

It is a wonderful story, fully narrated and illustrated about honesty. Enjoy!
How to teach health at home? I already gave the children the assignment to make a poster illustrating how to not spread germs. They should work on this project. For the next month, all students should work on bucket filling. The students all know the story about being a bucket filler. It is about how being kind, fills other peoples buckets, as well as out our own. And the opposite, being mean empties other peoples buckets, as well as our own. Over the next month, all students should make a list of all the bucket filling things they do. The goal is 25. Yes, do 25 nice things for people and write them down. I want to hear about them! Who can fill the most buckets? Write me a story about the most impactful or fun bucket filler that you did. I would love to hear about it and that would fill my bucket too! You can also take a picture of your bucket filling log and send it to my email. I am looking forward to hearing from you at mmueller@psdschools.org
In addition, 1st graders should work on their shoe tying skills. When I next see you, come down to the health room, show me that you know how to tie and I will give you a prize! In the meantime, send me a video of you tying shoes and send it to my email at mmueller@psdschools.org
Take good care of each other. Fill some buckets.
