ScratchJR and Scratch 3.0 from MIT Media Lab offer many opportunities for students to engage with block-based coding while developing their skills in various subject areas.
Scratch Day - mainly celebrated in May, but there are events year-round.
Scratch for Educators - guides, creative computing plans, tutorials, coding cards, ideas page, connect via FB, etc.
ScratchJR is mainly for K-2 but any age can utilize it. This app needs to be pushed to student chromebooks in order for access. Please send in a Support ticket to IT.

Teacher Accounts in Scratch - you can request this from MIT which makes it easier to create and manage your students projects and comments.
