INTRO
Explore a game-based online environment that can be created as unique as each of your students. This software is made available through Alberta Ed's new Microsoft licensing agreement. Interested teachers need to contact IT for access for them and their students.
Class resources, lesson plans, activities, etc. are all available.
ACCESS
Send in a support ticket to IT with your name, school site and grade of students who are needing access.
PSD LAPTOP
Once this access is granted, go to Minecraft Education Edition and click on MY CLASSROOM and Create an account. Once created you will always sign in this way by clicking on the OFFICE 365 button. Use your PSD email, choose Work or School account and enter your password.

PSD CHROMEBOOK (NEW - Sept. 2020)
Students can now use a chromebook to access Minecraft Education Edition! Send in the support ticket as before. Review the Chromebook Guide to Start Teaching with Minecraft in PSD (also seen below). All green colored sections are specific to PSD. Signing in will look different for students in O365 (they will use @psd70.ab.ca instead of psdblogs). READ the Guide before you start up with students.
