Tutors

I like helping with AVID because the age group of the kids: they are at an age where you can interact with them and they are responsive. You can form a decent relationship with them when you get feedback and you can bring out life skills: building character, personality, team skills, and the ability to have positive interactions with other people. 

The community gives me a lot of things, but I want to thank the kids for letting me in and being a part of their life. It gives my life a purpose. 

Being a tutor is not about the knowledge of a subject, but the ability to teach skills.
