Google Suite is cloud based software. It is made up of Google Drive, Calendar and Classroom for communication and storage. It also is made up of Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Keep, Forms, Sites, Jamboard, and Meets with can be used for collaboration and productivity. Google Suite products can be found within the waffle when signed in.
The waffle is the icon that looks similar to a 3x3 array next to the google account's profile picture. It is located on the home Google or Google search page. Users have access to all Google Suite products through the waffle. Suite products within the waffle can be reorganized by dragging and dropping.
Google Drive is the cloud based storage service that is part of the GSuite. Students can visit the Drive to upload and share new files with their teacher or find files that have been shared with them. Students also have a Classroom folder that contains all files that have been assigned in their enrolled Google Classrooms.
A word processor, web based tool that can be used to write papers, make posters, etc. Documents are automatically saved to the student's Google Drive. Documents can be shared with teachers or other students for a collaborative assignment.

A presentation, web based tool that can be used to create presentations. Slide decks are automatically saved to the student's Google Drive. Presentations can be shared with teachers or other students, as well as presented in person or over a virtual meeting like Meet or Zoom.

The spreadsheet, web based tool that can be used to create and edit spreadsheets. Sheets are automatically saved to the student's Google Drive. Sheets can also be shared with teachers or other students. Students can create graphs, charts, and various other mathematical illustrations.

A survey application that students may use to take quizzes or assessments or create surveys. Forms need to be submitted at the end when information has been entered. If a form is a quiz, it may be automatically graded, but some will be graded manually later. Students can also create forms to survey classmates for various assignments.

A video conferencing program that can be used to conference with groups of people. If a teacher decides to use Meet, they can share a link on the class stream or in classwork, but they also may have students click the link from the classroom banner.
A collaborative and interactive whiteboard that can be used by multiple users at once. Teachers may use Jamboard when virtual conferencing with a class, group, or student. Students can also use this tool to show teachers their thinking or work. Users can draw and erase as well as add images and sticky notes.
A time management and scheduling tool built into Google Suite and Google Classroom. Students assignments and weekly work may be included in their calendar, as will any other important dates and times. Teachers may also use the calendar to schedule meetings. Students can also add their own important reminders to help manage their time.
