PHS-CC Counselors will strive to provide an atmosphere of security, warmth, and encouragement as PHS students work to reach their fullest educational potential in the areas of academic, career, and personal development. PHS-CC Counselors will also commit to establishing a solid foundation as PHS students successfully manage their lives as healthy, responsible and productive citizens who respect themselves and others.

All students during Junior year are required to take the SAT during a school day administration to be eligible for graduation---all Juniors will take the SAT in April. In order to register for an additional opportunity to take the SAT or ACT you must register through ACT.org or Collegeboard.org.
For students who wish to participate in athletics at NCAA Division I or II universities or colleges, or NAIA universities or colleges there are specific standards that must be met in high school. Interested students, during their Sophomore year, must consult the NCAA Clearinghouse website at www.ncaa.org or the NAIA website at www.playnaia.org.
