Mr. Ivan Espinosa - 3rd to 5th Grade

Hello everyone, I am Ivan Espinosa the new technology teacher/coordinator. I am so happy to join the PS195X community.

This will be my twelfth year as NYCDOE teacher. I am so proud to be a NYC teacher. The opportunity to teach students from so many diverse backgrounds is a privilege.

Prior to working at PS195X, I have worked in several schools in Queens as a substitute teacher at first, then I moved on to technology teacher. I am not new to the Bronx, early in my career I worked as a Specialty Teacher in the Computer Lab at a District 75 school in the Bronx. I enjoyed my time there and that is how I got interested in both Special Education and Technology.

I pursued a degree in instructional technology because I do enjoy using technology in my instructions and I feel that technology is the path to achieving success with all our students. I also like engaging my students with creative forms of learning.

I love traveling and taking photographs of all my adventures.

I hope to be able to make my tenure at PS195X an incredible and wonderful technological learning experience for all my students.

Hola a todos, soy Ivan Espinosa, el nuevo profesor / coordinador de tecnología. Estoy muy feliz de unirme a la comunidad PS195X.

Este será mi duodécimo año como maestro de NYCDOE. Estoy muy orgulloso de ser un maestro de Nueva York. La oportunidad de enseñar a estudiantes de tantos orígenes diversos es un privilegio.

Antes de trabajar en PS195X, al principio trabajé en varias escuelas en Queens como maestra sustituta, luego pasé a ser maestra de tecnología. No soy nuevo en el Bronx, al principio de mi carrera trabajé como profesor especializado en el laboratorio de computación en una escuela del Distrito 75 en el Bronx. Disfruté mi tiempo allí y así es como me interesé tanto en Educación Especial como en Tecnología.

Busqué un título en tecnología educativa porque disfruto usando la tecnología en mis instrucciones y siento que la tecnología es el camino para lograr el éxito con todos nuestros estudiantes. También me gusta involucrar a mis alumnos con formas creativas de aprendizaje.

Me encanta viajar y tomar fotografías de todas mis aventuras.

Espero poder hacer de mi permanencia en PS195X una experiencia de aprendizaje tecnológico increíble y maravillosa para todos mis estudiantes.
