Homework

• 15 minutes of Math

• 15 minutes of Spelling

• 30 minutes of reading (book club book or for STAR Reader)

We will learn the phonics rules in class using spelling words. We may not have a lot of time to practice the words in class though, so I give it as homework practice. 

My philosophy is that math homework is a review of previously learned material for students to practice for mastery. This helps students not lose what they have learned.
