Science Fair: Optional for 5th grade. Required for 6th grade.
Spelling Bee: The Spelling Bee is held in the Spring
Great Brain: Research a topic of interest and present it to the class. This cannot be a school project, but a project done on your own. More details in the Library.
S.T.A.R. Reading Challenge: Read a variety of books every school year! You will receive prizes, a book, a certificate, and recognition during an assembly. This is required for 5th graders. More details in the library.
Battle of the Books: Join a team of friends to collectively read books and then go up against other students (and possibly a team of teachers) to show your knowledge of the books for the year—more information in the library.
Caldecot Reading Challenge: Read Caldecot Gold Medal Award books and receive prizes! More details in the library
Satch Patch: This is an honorable reward only our school holds. Requirements can be accessed in April of the school year.
Drama Club/Plays: Our amazing drama teacher invites all 3-6 students to participate in the plays and clubs after school. Look for more information in school emails.
Choir: We have two amazing music teachers who teach 3-6 grade students. They meet on Tuesday and Thursday mornings to practice. The performances are moving and the students perform so well and are ready to learn more and connect with music when they participate in choir.
