My name is Donn Chu. I am the tech support person for our school. I serve as the liaison between our school and the IT department. I am available for tech help during the First Block on B day. If I'm not helping another staff member, I'll be in the Tech Office, Room 123a. Because I also teach classes of my own, I am only available to assist during that time. If you're unable to see me during that time, email me with any tech requests, and I will get to you in the order in which it comes to me during my allotted time.
In-house things I can try to troubleshoot include:
resetting GAFE for students and staff,
providing hardware that we have in-house such as laptops, chrome books, Elmo's, computer accessories, etc.
computer/printer setup
A few things to keep in mind:
We're still working with IT to enable Chrome Cast with the new TV in your room.
As for printers, if you are assigned to this building, you should be able to install the printer. If you're not sure of how to do this, here's a tutorial video made by Ms. Fagan. Thank you Ms. Fagan!
With the new laptops, IT department is aware that there's a need to add the admin credentials.
However, if you need to print, you can connect it with a printer line. I have it, let me know.
All other requests should be emailed to help@ppsd.org and Cc me on it if you're not sure if I can handle it in-house.
