Spring Cleans

Spring Cleans are conducted in May & November and may also be requested by the Property Owner at other times.

If you believe the property requires a spring clean please log a maintenance job via the HomHero app and we will seek approval from the owner.

SPRING CLEAN Checklist

All areas (as applicable):

• Clean skirting boards

• Clean tile grout

• Clean marks / bugs / cobwebs off of walls / roof

• Wipe down all blinds

• Clean lamps / light fixtures

• Clean / wipe ceiling / pedestal fans

• Remove & wash air conditioning filters

• Check all lights operational

Living areas

• Move all furniture & clean behind

• Remove cushions from couches & vacuum

• Wash all cushions

• Dust & wipe TV / DVD / Foxtel / Games consoles

• Clean fireplace & surrounds

Kitchen

• Remove all items from drawers & cupboards

• Clean drawers & cupboards inside & out

• Clean around stove - move stove if freestanding

• Clean behind fridge & appliances

• Clean out fridge & freezer - wipe down all shelves

Bedrooms

• Pull out beds and vacuum behind

• Vacuum / wipe down inside wardrobes / cupboards / bedside cabinets

• Move all furniture and vacuum and mop behind

• Remove & wash all pillow / mattress protectors (use linen service)

Bathrooms

• Scrub floor & walls of shower

• Clean shower screens / doors (no mould)

• Check shower curtains for replacement

• Scrub corners of bathroom

• Clean inside vanity / drawers

Exterior

• Wash decks / patio areas 

• Wash / wipe down outdoor furniture

• Deep clean BBQ 

• Hose exterior walls, windows decks, pergolas as required  (extra fees are permitted for this) to remove all webs / bugs
