GLO was a teen members-only co-op that facilitated quality Academic and Experience classes, one-day workshops, and fun social experiences in and around London, Ontario. We existed to strengthen and support homeschooling in high school by connecting students with like-minded peers and qualified tutors. By joining our resources together, we gave teens learning opportunities unavailable in the home setting and the chance to grow strong Christ-centered community.
In 2025, the leaders of GLO graduated from home education and this program is no longer running.
If you are a local home educator who shares the GLO vision and are interested in seeing it or something like it resume in our area, please email highschoolglo@gmail.com . We would be happy to talk with you .
" I am so extremely thankful that all of you were willing to share your many gifts to provide our children with such a great experience. The final performance was absolutely phenomenal! Thank you for all your hard work and sacrifices. I will be highly recommending this co-op." --Liz W., Vienna, ON
"The [Theatre Arts Initiative] was a highlight for us in [my daughter's] homeschool journey. A year that will go in the history book as making one of the biggest impacts. I so appreciate all the hard work that those leading and teaching put into it. There will never be another GLO like this and I count us blessed to have been a part of it. Many many many thanks!" -Trudy H.
"These classes were excellent - the teaching was top notch and the content challenging and interesting. We are very thankful that [our daughter] could be part of this and hope that the rest of our children will be able to attend when they are in grades 11/12. GLO has been a real answer to prayer for this homeschool mom and her daughter who needed something different and challenging for her grade 12 year. It was worth the 2 hour drive. "Andrew did a wonderful job - the kids really enjoyed his class! He had a great mix of activities & assignments. He encouraged the kids to explore new ways to present their work which led to increased interest, new digital/software education and creative idea generation. It was great to see the kids take on their assignments with enthusiasm, problem-solving and imagination. Andrew relates easily to the kids and this made the class super enjoyable for them. He also pushed them to meet deadlines, to present good academic work and to stay on top of their assignments. The way he outlined their workload (esp. the research paper) helped them to stay organized and not to procrastinate. I’m super pleased with HOW much more the kids learned BEYOND all that they learned about 20th century history. Please pass along my heartfelt thanks for a job well done. " --Kim M., London, ON
