RE: Collaboration on tackling oligosomnia pandemic with the objective of protection of human civilization from collapse and disintegration, a global economic meltdown and the severity of the 6th mass extinction underway alongside the speedy ocean acidification and the horror of climate crisis to be visited upon the planet by the super-speedy progress of the climate change which would be devastating the ecosystems and life forms superadditively. GOTREND or Telomere day version of World Sleep

Dear recipients,

I am most humbly communicating with you to solicit your input and collaborating with me in telomere day and other public health related projects. This is a plea to halt the impending disasters as above that humanity has brought upon itself through a super-speedy progress in technology and transformation of the pre-historic hunter gatherer human lifestyle to the jet-set lifestyle which has created a mismatch between the human brain and human DNA who find themselves suddenly displaced into a novel and totally unfamiliar environment as if a family from Houston Florida were to be shipped to moon or Mars and required to adapt to living in that novel and absolutely unfamiliar environment. Credence to this analogy can be found from the relatively calmer lifestyles of the aboriginals who live in the very rural settings or the exceptional Amazonian tribes not yet infected by the modern civilization bug of smart phones, tablets etc. They do not suffer from oligosomnia! The solution to this lies not in genetically editing human brains to become a Martian brain but to regress back in the technology progress by several gigantic steps to foster a more “rural” lifestyle.

My legacy as a neuroscientist, social scientist and neurobehavioralist. I propose to leave my legacy in the coining of term GOTREND, (details to follow below) along the lines that legacy of Einstein is summarized in E=MC2 and other Nobel laureates are known for their contribution through confining of novel concepts one of great relevance to the current discussion is the work of Nobel laureate Elizabeth Blackburn on Telomere shortening which for lay public easily translates to life shortening. I propose GOTREND as the cure for telomere shortening which is a potential effect of chronic sleep deprivation which is a known stressor and all stressors shrink telomere. Tempaku et al have published a paper in Sleep Medicine 2015 May;16(5):559-63 named Telomere length as a marker of sleep loss and sleep disturbances: a potential link between sleep and cellular senescence. I hope to undertake a literature review on this at some point and that would be another short paper. But I do not wish to simply stop at telling that just as smoking, JUNK food, (Jazzed-up, Unnatural, Nutritionally-deficient Killer foods) alcoholism, poor sex health (annual orgasm count < 300), are killers insufficient or poor quality sleep (something the shift workers cannot escape) would produce health disruptions, speed up aging, cause dementia and even kill you prematurely. Even the U. S. President Obama and his wife were defeated by the JUNK food vendors and that is a tragic observation. The story is equally nightmarish when fighting the vendors of sugar sweetened soda giants like Coke, Pepsi etc. Public health officials and others concerned with public health sure have this uphill talk set out for them. That is what I am undertaking herein.

Fear or pain are not powerful human behavior motivators but sex and money sure are. The reliance on fear as a Jungian operant conditioning tool has poor efficacy with humans especially when the corporate universe benefits from and is working hard to pull human race to become addicts from JUNK food to smart phone. In the pioneering study called Caerphilly Heart Disease Study that first connected the dots between cholesterol levels and coronary mortality had a dismal compliance rate with health promoting lifestyle of 1% and the compliance rates reported by American Heart Association of their Heart Healthy 7 is even more dismal of 0.1% and is on course to become 0.01% as the healthcare professionals watch this all quietly. No greater than 3-4% of Americans surveyed could answer the three key steps of activity, diet and sleep affirmatively. I subscribe to the theory that through a shift in vocabulary it is possible to make transitions in the human mind which is the task at hand in this dissertation and doing it at a global scale is what is now become necessary notwithstanding the mammoth seeming or mission impossible sounding nature of the task.

Introduction of the term oligosomnia (and a few others rectosomnia/ eunarcosis / euhypnosis). I am seriously amused upon observing that despite parasomnias and hypersomnias being fairly popular terms at least amongst the sleep researchers, no one has to date cared to coin and use the term oligosomnia which rhymes with and might even a factor in oligospermia. There is ample literature on lack of sleep, sleep shortage, sleep deprivation, sleep debt etc., I find the use of term rectosomnia which would be somewhat reminiscent of erectosomnia as well would be a very useful term to be introduced in the sleep medicine circles and then popularized among the public. This close association of rectosomnia with erectosomnia would be powerfully instrumental in helping public memorize the phrase. I hold a view that humans can develop habits over only those items that they can easily memorize. So, in my writing I keep strong emphasis on taking every step that would be of assistance in memorizing. I have studied the memory aspect of brain function in detail for that reason and plan to write a few essays or papers on that given the profound link between memory and sleep.

Introduction of the term rectosomnia/ eunarcosis / euhypnosis and “saw tooth sleep”. While I await input from others as to which would be the best option between the “good night’s sleep” that might be better encrypted in rectosomnia/ eunarcosis / euhypnosis which would be the antonym or antithesis of interrupted poor quality sleep where the level of sleep fluctuates and has been referred to as “saw tooth sleep” which is fairly descriptive of the sleep of the sleep apnea victims. Rectosomnia would refers to a rectangular or “square sleep” whereby there is sudden and quick descend into fairly deep sleep and one stays there until return to wakefulness. Saw-tooth would be the opposite of poor-quality interrupted sleep. Two related concepts of noise pollution and social sequestration of dysphoric isolation sensibility syndrome or dysphoric involuntary social sequestration (DISS – an acronym that has two similar possible expansions to choose from.). While the issue of sleep duration has received ample attention that of sleep quality has lagged. Popularization of terms like rectosomnia and dyssomnia would help mobilize attention of researchers and resources to evaluate the quality of sleep which can be understood as JUNK sleep by analogy to JUNK food.

Impending global epidemic of dumbing of the humanity into dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Where World Sleep Society and World Sleep Federation can play a role in “saving the humanity” or averting the triad of global economic meltdown, ecosystem collapse from over consumption and the Non-communicable Diseases (NCD) pandemic

My interest and ability to have scientific publications in medical journals. With due respect to your counselling that I submit my manuscripts anticipating their being accepted for publications in your Sleep Medicine journal, I would require a lot more support than merely directing me to the link where I might electronically submit them. They are in reality at just the post fertilization zygote stage and not even a fetal stage. I have basically originated these concepts in my minds which to me at least appear very valuable. But without peers holding the same opinion they would not see the light of the day in the sense they would never see them birthed. I did train in neurology and did some post-doctoral training in neuro-immunology on antibodies and thymus role in this rare condition of myasthenia gravis. But I could not secure funding to continue the neuroimmunology research. I undertook extensive reading on psychology of happiness and stress control and then shifted it on to longevity and healthspan while at the same time keep updated on the environmental crisis issue. With this very broad range of interests and the ability to have mastered with adequate fluency some twenty exotic languages from Arabic, Mandarin, Russian to Irish in a post-traumatic brain which led me to conclude that I am one of those rare front-temporal dementia or post traumatic savants who have developed genius with a stroke to my brain which I view as “a stroke of genius”. I did suffer a deep posterior cerebral artery stroke that has left me with aphasia and CAPD version of Wernicke’s aphasia (Central Auditory Processing Disorder). I have been out of the academic circles since 1990 and am an unknown which did give me three decades to do this extensive research that I wish to publish but it requires audience.

Need to be fully persuaded of non-futility of my published papers. I wish to be convinced that my efforts and the fact of printing the dozen of so papers that are in my mind would bring a global revolution in the sleeping habits of humans. If that is remote likelihood, I would not find motivation to properly write in finished version and submit for publication all that work. I would come to the point that healthcare professionals can save only those who wish to be saved, make fit only those who wish to become fit. So, if the political and public will to learn from the message in my proposed papers is lacking, I would be very reluctant about them and not develop them as I would conclude that to be an exercise in futility and nothing more than waste of paper, ink, water, electricity etc.

Conditions to my fuller participation in the Congress. It was pretty serendipitous that I happened to stumble upon the World Sleep Day, World Sleep Society and the World Sleep Congress 2019 in Vancouver September 20-25, 2019 worldsleepcongress.com) and that to just in time. Due to my seriously compromised economic or financial situation the condition I would be able to attend the World Sleep Congress 2019 in a meaningful manner would be if resorting to a humanitarian compassionate generosity World Sleep Society were to provide me with complementary admission or waive my fees. I have attended couple of environmental gathering at the place where World Sleep Society is going to be held where the enrolment fee was waived for me. Due to may partial hearing I would not be technically attending anyway. Kindly give this plea of mine a serious consideration. I have attended several such meetings of American Academy of Neurology so I am well aware of the benefits of attending the gathering like the World Sleep 2019 for the potential of networking opportunities with the clinicians and neuroscientists. While there would be good opportunity to interact with other talented attendees. unfortunately, they fail to become long term associations, part of the hurdle is my partial hearing and the fact of being mute so I have to scribble stuff. Email is far better and if I am not getting much luck with the online communications the reason for optimism via in person too would be feeble. I did attend Alzheimer’s Update at UBC last year and no meaningful long-term communication could be established, and that is the Achilles Heel and that is where I want to intervene. I have visited the World Sleep 2019 Vancouver registration page but the lack of funds even to supply my daily needs left me without option other than to leave that page for now. I will have to resort to attempting to sneak in free of charge by making my plea in person unless the arrangements with a concession being granted to me are made ahead of time. But then again, my arguments of waste of ink and paper about the publication of papers in the sleep magazines would apply equally to the conference as well. Sure, it would be a gathering, a gala and a celebration but in the end the humanity would keep sinking in the list of crises that I wish to intervene. If sleep researchers won’t even bother to respond to my emails how to network?

Averting the oligosomnia pandemic, the Non-communicable Diseases (NCD) epidemic, dementia tsunami. The pressure I perceive of doing this work for the benefit of future generations is that they are likely to cause government failures, rioting, unrest and anarchy as the health care budges of countries buckle under these mega pandemics. They would prove more deadly than the influenza pandemics because humans would kill each other faster than any virus could or can. A unique aspect of neurologically trained brain is the cultivation of faculty of envision processes going on inside the cranium especially because I trained before the times of fMRI. I have started to call this impending global chaos as “second coming of CHRIST” (Chaos, Hostilities, Riots, Insurgences, Strife, Turmoil). This is a very valid prediction and the collapse of both the economy, social structure and the political paradigm is now a certainty and matter only of when not if. Humanity especially the youth of today would be well served to prepare the world for this second coming of CHRIST. And where I wish to plug the World Sleep Foundation is to take steps to avert this eventuality. Several lines of argument from nearly a billion climate refuges generated by the droughts, floods, rising sea levels that the remaining 6-7 would want to kill or wish they just die of would create a global scale chaos at least ten-fold more serious that the second world war or WW-II. Some experts predict the WW-III to erupt and there is sound rationale behind it and it would likely be over water rights. So, future for humanity is bleak such that the current course is a path to abyss and we need to shift away from the current rates of consumption. (here sleep is very helpful because no one goes shopping in the mall when asleep, not even the sleep walking victims.). The bait of a lot more time in bed having sex and getting sleep is a very desirable objective with which we need to succeed even if that sounds like an uphill battle or swimming against the stream. Humanity of today faces this huge hurdle or hump that must be overcome.

Diabesty, metabolic syndrome or Non-communicable Diseases (NCD) epidemic. At the risk of offending it, I would here dare to accuse the World Sleep Society of having been ineffective or has been derelict in doing good enough job at insuring that a sizable fraction of the world gets rectosomnia and not be afflicted by the so-called metabolic syndrome or versions of it. I do however appreciate that the power with the World Sleep Society to control the lifestyle choices of public is very limited. But that empowerment is what my purpose of contacting and seeking collaboration from World Sleep Society truly is. I hope that World Sleep Society would empower me and in return I can empower World Sleep Society to succeed with the averting of the above listed epidemic. These major global crises are going to require for entire humanity to come together. The evens like Paris Summit end up being absolutely wasteful because of the self interest promotion. We are so deeply in this Noah’s ark together that unless we unite into a ball like the fire-ants the flood of these epidemics of health conditions, the climate crisis and the economic meltdown will do us in.

In defence of World Sleep Society I would state that the issue is that of poor policy and the corporate agenda to overfeed and sicken the human race to profit from drug sales. Dr. Margaret Chan Director-General of the World Health Organization made the following remark about Obesity and diabetes: the slow-motion disaster Keynote address at the 47th meeting of the National Academy of Medicine 17 October 2016 in Washington, DC, USA Emphasizing the need for policy shifts to deal with the Non Communicable Disease (NCD) epidemic stated: Ladies and gentlemen, I have a final comment. When crafting preventive strategies, government officials must recognize that the widespread occurrence of obesity and diabetes throughout a population is not a failure of individual willpower to resist fats and sweets or exercise more. It is a failure of political will to take on powerful economic operators, like the food and soda industries. If governments understand this duty, the fight against obesity and diabetes can be won. The interests of the public must be prioritized over those of corporations. But the World Sleep Society having a key position in this would be deemed derelict in its duties by failing to persuade the policy makers to make health positive policies one of which is building a carbon free economy given the fossil fuels are a powerful propellers of the metabolic syndrome by air quality impairment which impacts sleep adversely as well as making people switch from walking or bilking to work by use of personal automobiles. Fossil fuels make humans lazier and impact their health negatively through several ways such that decarbonizing of economy is a smart move that is being extraordinarily delayed despite the huge costs of use of the fossil energy sources.

World (International) Telomere Day and GOTREND. I have gathered lines of evidence that permit development of a concept that inflammation or its version known as inflammaging which sets it apart from common URI or strep throat type infective inflammation the hallmark of which is that it is made worse by cortisol and other adrenal hormones as the pathway the sleep lack or oligosomnia accelerates aging and causes the three or four dozen known health impacts. Pioneered by Franceschi et al medicine needs to become far more familiar with Inflamm-aging. An evolutionary perspective on immunosenescence publication on which is in Ann N Y Acad Sci. 2000 Jun; 908:244-54. There is a unique autoimmune aspect of Inflamm-aging & immunosenescence such that while sharing several aspects with a low-grade Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) immunosenescence fails to respond to both NSAIDs and to cortico-steroids rendering them ineffective in preventing Alzheimer’s disease forcing resort to anticancer immunotoxins as the dual edged tool with more risks than benefits. Dr. Elissa Epel has posted on YouTube a talk on the topic of How To Beat Inflammaging and The Telomere Shortening. Dr. John Sherman ND of Tahoma Clinic has posted a discussion Inflammaging and Healthy Aging What needs to happen as a remedy against accelerated aging is popularization of the concept I have encrypted in a trendy and hopefully catchy acronym GOTREND day that expands to Global Optimism Telomere Restitution (repair, recovery of lost length, restoration of lost base pairs) Endothelioguarding (Endothelioshielding) Neurogenesis Designing Day Celebrated on the Second Saturday of the month of February. Endothelioprotection is synonymous with negating the Cyclical Arteriosclerotic-Inflammaging Reverberating Operation (CAIRO) or Inflammaging Assault cum Oxidative Damage cum Intercellular Miscommunications (IAcODcIM ) aging process. After studying the pathogenesis of aging, I have developed an overly simplified three-pronged summary of the potential dozens of major contenders of the aging process and coined this helpful acronym that can help clinicians and lay public memorize the major derivers of aging. Healthspan extension in light of IAcODcIM is another concept in dire need of being popularized in the public health circles and among the lay public to which the corporate PR machinery would offer resistance because the steps that are advised under this like caloric restriction to third of the current food consumption would not sit well with the food producing corporate giants and the fast food industry. There is a major role for World Sleep Society to play in this given the tight link between nutrition quality and sleep quality. Stimulants in several products sold as energy drinks are a hazard to rectosomnia and in need of being legally banished.

Oligosomnia CAIRO connection. Given that Cyclical Arteriosclerotic-Inflammaging Reverberating Operation (CAIRO) is synonymous with Inflammaging Assault cum Oxidative Damage cum Intercellular Miscommunications (IAcODcIM ) and a persuasive opinion paper can be published explicitly linking the entire gamut of adverse health effects and healthspan shrinkage caused by poor quality or too short sleep to inflammaging mediated accelerated aging there is a clear need to popularize the link of oligosomnia and CAIRO among health professionals who can then educate public on this. Work of Dr. Libby on the origin of atherosclerosis from inflammaging and cholesterol deposition being a secondary phenomenon that is analogous to beta amyloid as the waste produced by neuroinflammation are illustrative. GOTREND day can be subsumed within the World Sleep Day or better yet the World Sleep Day be renamed GOTREND day. The benefit of drawing attention to the Telomere shortening is that humans being loss averse would pay close attention to it. To fortify that attention men can be advised to view telomere shortening analogous to penis shortening, which is bound to get public attention. I am surprised that the erectile dysfunction side effect of nicotine addiction has been underused and has not scared public partly because of the hope of there is always Viagra so no need to panic over it. Penis shrinkage would be another story. I would like urologists to determine the shortening of human erection from the 3rd decade of life to the 6th and 7th decade, and then put it in the context of healthy lifestyle and the unhealthy ones. I predict that the amount of shortening of erect penis from the 3rd decade of life to the 6th and 7th decade among those who engaged in the Healthy 7 habits of American Heart Association would be smaller. And there can be a room made for the sleep duration and quality.

Rationale why GOTREND day will catch on. Success of Nike is owed to the fact of the company having stumbled upon the iconic slogan “Just do it” Thus far the public health authorities have struggled hard in pushing public to become more physically active and eat health promoting diets and cut back on JUNK foods. A key relevance of these two lies in the fact that through decreasing happiness as measured by Subjective Well-Being index and by causing an elevation of stress the sedentariness and JUNK food addictions are potent destroyers of rectosomina.

Rectosomnia as the net effect of lifestyle choices. Excellent work done by of Dr. Garry Egger Professor; Lifestyle Medicine and Applied Health Promotion, Southern Cross University, Australia and president of Australian Lifestyle Medicine Association Inc. (ALMA) and explains how Lifestyle Medicine can reduce the global burden of disability caused by NCD. His five part talk is available on YouTube under the title Obesity, Metaflammation, 'Inflammaging' and Chronic Disease. 28 June 2009. He has offered an interesting analogy of climate change as an inflammaging of the planet or Mother Nature who has been made sick by humans. There is a clear need to link the metabolic syndrome to climate change and that would bring in the debate of sleep disrupting effects of climate change into discussion. There is a potential of serious dyssomnias as the globe warms. Many parts of the world would become uninhabitable because the night time temperatures would remain higher than 22°C making falling asleep and staying asleep impossible. Quality of sleep would be adversely impacted as well. Even the livestock would face these adverse consequences and “lose sleep over” the reality of a lot warmer planet given they would not have enough time for their DNA to adapt to the warmer planet. Wildlife would suffer in their sleep patterns as well and several species would go extinct for their inability to sleep. Part of the damage suffered by the polar bears would be sleep deprivation related due to the shrinkage of the winter season impeding their hibernation.

Exploiting the memory loss and dementia scare to improve human lifestyle choices. In light of the dismal efficacy of cigarette carton packet warnings that show that humans are very capable of ignoring threats of cancer, death etc., when countered by the concern that preoccupies a sizable fraction of the middle aged adults of suffering memory impairment there is a room for the reference to memory loss and dementia to scare and expect improved human lifestyle choices. This can be attained in GOTREND by informing the public over the power of neurogenesis and the telomere length restoration as safeguards against memory loss which can powerfully exploit the loss aversion human psychological element.

Rectosomnia as the end product of healthful lifestyle choices. I have developed arguments from simply observing the obvious something that does not require a controlled study blinding which would be problematic that the end result of an active lifestyle with healthspan promoting unrationing, popper daytime rest in wakefulness or mindful meditation type activity balance, effective stress control and time management, avoiding smoking in excess or not at all, avoiding alcohol excess, evading sedentariness (aka asseriorism derived from French verb assiore for sitting that makes asseriorism a Latinized therefore medical sounding version of “sitting disease” which finds entry into Wikipedia under sedentary lifestyle). The moral of this line of conclusion making is that the strategy of living each day with the object to obtain square sleep or savor rectosomnia is thematic of the lifestyle medicine or preventive health practice which would be powerfully conducive to superior public health as is enjoyed by the Nordic nations like Denmark, Netherlands etc., the top five among the happiest nations of the world.

Problem of saving the humanity that is not too keen on nor interested in saving itself. The real obstacle in taking any remedial steps towards promoting quality sleep or rectosmonia is that it would be hard to intimidate or threaten as if on gun point human race to throw away their smart phones, tablets etc, and sleep. There are digital giants from Microsoft. Google to Facebook who would stand to lose billions by that type of drastic shift in the human behavior. But causing these digital giants, the food industry giants, PR firms and so one to lose money is where the salvation of human race lies and that makes it a mission impossible.

Link of rectosomnia to GOTREND and to handling the climate crisis and averting global economic meltdown. The message I wish to send to World Sleep Society and other who concern themselves with sleep research or sleep medicine in some way is that humanity must commit to the GOTREND version of World Sleep Day and view that as somewhat paradoxid or ironical sounding term of “a wakeup call” given that the “ability to get good quality sleep is something most people can now only dream about”. Without sounding too arrogant and pompous I would humbly state that due to my extensively wide range of interest and relatively high intellect I have amassed the knowhow as to how the human civilization can be saved.

Abridgment of the sleep lab and bedroom gap. Where I seem to find my niche as a trained analytical research neuroscientist with adequate skills in EEG interpretation of sleep and other conditions and a clinician who has practiced under several diverse scenarios is that I am practical enough to bring the facts found in the sleep lab to the bedrooms of the public and give them unbiased counselling on it from the subjective wellbeing (SWB) and healthspan expansion perspective given that I have engaged in longevity and happiness research as well. Message here is that in todays world its impossible to be singularly happy. In order to be genuinely and enduringly happy we must take all of the community or our tribe with us.

The theory of “holding the hands of the public and taking them for walks” (or to drag them to bed). I have recently stumbled upon the human walkers who bill at the rate of $30 an hour for taking humans (instead of dogs) for walks. That business paradigm explodes the observation made Finnish researchers of team of Dr. Art Pesola from Neuromuscular Research Center in the Faculty of Sport and Health Sciences at University of Jyväskylä evaluated the impact of reducing sedentary time over a year and reported their results in the journal PLOS One. Dr. Pesola’s team conducted a “cluster-randomized trial,” meaning that 133 parents with young children were randomly split into a group of 71 parents in the intervention and 62 parents in the control group. The intervention group in small groups 1) heard a 30-minute lecture on health risks of prolonged sedentariness with a word of caution that sedentariness would increase with age and that would cripple them into immobility by lowering their ambulatory capability with drastic consequences, 2) they also heard about the challenges of modern life in industrial civilization that encourage or effectively coerces people into excessive sitting afflicting them and epigenetically their children; and 3) they were presented with strategies for reducing sedentary time. This boldness of mine does come with a promise that if given some sources I can turn the trajectory that is little less dismal. That is how World Sleep Society and other sleep health practitioners can help me. They need to listen to me and adopt this Dr. Art Pesola approach of actually talking to the humans on a personal level as their friends and provide good leadership, an example of which the Danish prime minister going to work on bicycle. We need great leaders for the healthy lifestyle but thus far all we have is preachers and they are all ineffective and have shown zero power to convert their audience to their faith of healthful lifestyle. Their entire rant is waste of time and mere noise pollution.

The DISSending gap elimination. Where I might soon find World Sleep Society lacking is being derelict in the requested role of ending this evil thing, I call dysphoric isolation sensibility syndrome or dysphoric involuntary social sequestration or DISS. I can point out that my efforts to contact others by email and in person have been systematically crushed and ignored by almost everyone. In sum out of the nearly half a million humans I have requested to contact me by email, NOT EVEN ONE person has complied. Focusing on the sleep researchers, out of the five I have recently contacted I again find a ZERO response. This propensity of ending the DISS is the key to solving the oligosomnia pandemic. People would sleep far better if their stress levels go down by 80% and their days are far less cramped with chores and appointments so they are cured of what I call hurry sickness or rush neurosis. There is a need to boost the happiness level of humanity. By ignoring my email messages, the five sleep researchers have certainly not made my happy. The troubling observation of the World Happiness Report 2019 released on 20 Mar 2019 by Action for Happiness is that Governments should take happiness more seriously , and I would extend that to World Sleep Society and others working on sleep medicine because happy people sleep better and better sleep is a key driver of happiness so there is a bidirectional cyclical relationship so that neuroscience of happiness and neuroscience of stress control needs blending with neuroscience of sleep. The report points out that happiness is on the decline because time spent sleeping and enjoying face to face social human interactions are declining. Young women spending >5 hrs. on social media daily are three (3) times more likely to be depressed than non-users and heavy internet users are twice as likely to be unhappy. Neuroscience explains that we all have the ability to cultivate happiness or boost our subjective sense of well-being. What needs to be understood is that wives hold “the key” to the happiness of the family in their hands (if they are not doing it, they better start holding the key to the family in their hands a lot more!) which would improve the sleep quality of not just the couple but the rest of the family as well. Children watching domestic abuse are certainly not happy campers. Lack of sleep has adverse impact on family harmony and causes divorces. Forget the Valdez, Chernobyl, MVAs from oligosomnia, lack of sleep plays havoc on family life as well. And sleep goes out of the window the moment the couple begins the name calling match that prevents even the neighbors from getting much sleep. Until we end this DISS, and we promote happiness at a global scale by living Danishly or Dutchly and socialize and commit to happiness and sleep of others we are doomed.

In order to care about my happiness, each one of the recipients must respond to me and collaborate with me. There being no such thing as time scarcity, only intellectual paucity and reverses priorities, I must insist collaborating with me and advancing the agenda of better sleep at a global scale be made the top priority.

We appreciate your enthusiasm and expertise!” I would like to see that you honestly mean it. Even if you mentioned it in a customary or cursory manner as an act of politeness that you advance to anyone contacting you, I would love to see that you give this even cursorily stated line a very deep meaning and truly respect and promote my skills, creativity, innovative powers, depth of insight into the wide range of issue and obviously the expertise that I profess as a lone flyer given that there is no one who has yet shown any appreciation for my talent. I hope with your support I would succeed with that. My object here is not pecuniary gains or fame or anything. I have done this all research partly to live to 114 and set a new longevity record for males and partly to live a healthy-happy life and given that I had done all that reading I see no sense in hiding that database from others and am glad to share with rest of human race but I need support and some resources to succeed with that. I hope that World Sleep Society and others in the sleep medicine circles would appreciate, recognize and support my work and help me spread the message and to help avert the mega-crises of disease epidemics are now loom ahead for humanity to face and humanity is not equipped to tackle them. Priorities of the human race are totally upside down and in a dire need of reversal. We have to start with DISSending whereby I hope that World Sleep Society would be instrumental in basically telling as in ordering others working in the sleep medicine to collaborate with me and help me complete and help me publish those rudimental thoughts in my head that can be developed in superb papers of excellent public utility and help us make the world better.

I do hope that the rest of the world would sympathize with my plea in order to avert these global health crises that WHO is ringing alarm bells over while the entire political system and the corporate universe is playing deaf and dumb to it. Arrogance is not the solution to these crises and empathy promotion, compassion is.
