The "Symphony and Shopping" trips try to occur once per semester and any student enrolled in a music course at any point in the school year may attend. This consists of travelling to Ottawa to shop at a Shopping Centre and then attending a performance by the National Arts Centre Orchestra. These trips mostly occur after school hours and preference goes to music students but other non-music students can attend at teacher discretion.
