Princeville School District Welcomes New Staff Members!

The Princeville School District is thrilled to announce the addition of four exceptional educators to our team for the upcoming school year. We are delighted to welcome Ms. Conway, our newest science teacher, Mr. Davis, our newest English teacher, Ms. Haste, our newest art teacher, and Mr. Arnett, a new permanent sub and JH track/Football coach! Their expertise and enthusiasm are sure to enrich our academic community.

Ms. Conway,  joins us with a passion for science and a commitment to inspiring the next generation of scientists. She double majored in Biology and Spanish at Illinois College in Jacksonville, IL, and had the opportunity to study abroad in Ecuador for a semester. Her internship at zoos in Springfield, IL, and Cuenca, Ecuador, provided her with valuable hands-on experiences. Ms. Conway has six years of teaching experience at Title I schools in Arizona, Illinois, and Indiana. Growing up in a small town similar to Princeville, she is thrilled to join a community that feels like home! This will be our 2nd year with all female teachers in our Science Department!

Mr. Davis brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for teaching to our community. Growing up on a farm outside of Monmouth, IL, Mr. Davis moved to Elmwood during his junior high years. He graduated from Elmwood in 2004 and pursued higher education at Monmouth College, where he earned a BA in English in 2008. In addition to his degree, he received state certification to teach both history and English. And later on got his MA in History. Mr. Davis has been dedicated to teaching since 2009, accumulating 15 years of experience at West Central, Elmwood, and IVC. He currently resides in Princeville with his wife and three boys. When the opportunity arose to join the Princeville School District, Mr. Davis was over the moon, as he and his family cherish the Princeville community. Beyond the classroom, Mr. Davis has a love for camping, which he enjoys sharing with his family. He is eager to get to know the students and become an active part of the school community. The Princeville School District is excited to see the positive impact Mr. Davis will have on our students and community.

The Princeville School District is delighted to officially welcome our newest art teacher, Ms. Haste. A proud Princeville alumni, Ms. Haste graduated in 2019 and continued her education at Bradley University, where she graduated last December. Although this is her first official year teaching, Ms. Haste is no stranger to our school. She filled in at the end of last year, making a positive impression on students and staff alike. We are excited to have her join us full-time and look forward to the creativity and passion she will bring to our art program. Welcome back, Ms. Haste!

Mr. Arnett is another familiar face at Princeville. After subbing for the district throughout last year and coaching Jr. High track, he has now been made a permanent sub. Mr. Arnett, who graduated in 2019 from Princeville, went on to pursue his education at Eureka College, where he also played football. His love for the game continues as he takes on a coaching position in the football program this fall. We are excited to see the positive impact he will have on our students both in the classroom and on the field/track!

We are excited to have Ms. Conway, Mr. Davis, Ms. Haste, and Mr. Arnett  join our team and look forward to the positive impact they will have on our students and school community. Their dedication to education and their respective fields will undoubtedly inspire and motivate our students. Here's to a fantastic school year ahead with our new staff members!
