About Mr. Rich Thole

Mr. Rich Thole is in his 29th year as an educator. Mr. Thole is a 1990 graduate of Galena High School. He attended Illinois State University, graduating in 1994 with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. He obtained a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Illinois State in 2003 and earned his administrative endorsement through Bradley University in 2007. Mr. Thole spent the first part of his career as a math teacher/department chair at Richwoods High School where he taught every math course offered, algebra through AP Calculus. He is married to Tracy and has 3 children, Matt, Cody and Caitlyn who all attended Princeville CUSD. In this, his 16th year in Princeville he will serve as the 6th -12th grade principal.  He continues to be impressed with the support, dedication and commitment of the students, staff, parents and community. Building a positive school culture, strong academic courses and respectful, caring relationships among everyone in the school community remains an ongoing focus.
