Important Dates for the Upcoming School Year

As the new school year approaches in just a few short weeks, we wanted to provide you with some important dates to mark on your calendar. Staying informed about these key events will help ensure a smooth and successful school year for students, parents, and teachers alike. 

Walk-In Registration - August 1, 2024 - Forgot about early online registration? We’ve got you covered with walk-In registration on August 1st at PJSHS. 4pm-7pm. As Well as walk-in registration at the grade school. 4pm-7pm.

Locker Set-Up - August 1, 2024 - Locker set-up for 6-8 & 9-12. We will be holding our annual locker set up for our kids to get prepared for the first day of school on August 1st. 6-8th grade will be 5pm-6pm & 9-12th grade will be 6pm-7pm! 

6th Grade Orientation - August 7, 2024 - The 6th grade orientation for incoming 6th grade students & parents will be August 7th at 6pm.

PGS Unpack Your Backpack Night - August 12, 2024 -  Our annual Unpack Your Backpack Night will be held August 12th from 6pm-7pm for any child and parent to come meet teachers and drop off school supplies in designated classrooms.

First Day Of School - August 14, 2024 - We will kick off the 2024-2025 school year on August 14th, and we just can’t contain our excitement! The first week of school (14th-16th)  we will be conducting an early dismissal of 2:15 pm. The week of August 19th we will revert back to our normal dismissal (8:10am-3:15pm).

PHS Meet the Teams Night - August 23, 2024 - One of our favorite events of the year! Meet the Team night will be held August 23rd at the High school to introduce our 2024-2025 fall sports teams, as well as the football and volleyball scrimmage. Time TBA

No School - September 2, 2024 - Labor Day
