Implementation

SCIENCE IMPLEMENTATION - 

To ensure high standards of teaching and learning in Science, we implement a curriculum that is progressive throughout the whole school. Teachers use our whole school progression document to help them to plan coverage of knowledge and working Scientifically objectives in Science. 

Teachers are responsive to the children's questioning about Scientific topics and will plan according to what questions arise from a lesson. 

Lesson's focus on a key question which is then answered through hands on practically work throughout the lesson. Evidence of this work is shown in the class' floorbooks (see class 'implementation' sections).
