Cooking and Nutrition: Eating Seasonally
In Design Techology the children have been learning about seasonal fruits and vegetables. We collected apples from our school grounds and made apple crumble. The children learnt about rubbing the butter, flour and sugar together to form the crumble and how to form a bridge to cut safely. These have now been frozen and will be on offer during our Harvest food tasting session.
KAPLA CLUB
As part of our dedicated STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fortnight here at The Prince of Wales School we were delighted to introduce a special ‘KAPLA’ launch event (funded by our generous friends at POWSA - thank you POWSA). Throughout the day, all children at The Prince of Wales School had the opportunity to explore creativity and engineering principles through hands-on building experiences. At the end of the day, lots of families came along to look at our finished work -
