MUSIC IMPACT -
What will this look like? By the time children leave our school they will:
have developed a love and appreciation of music
have a good awareness of different musical traditions and genres
be able to talk about how music makes them feel
have developed their musical skills to the best of their ability
be able to create musical compositions of their own
We regularly seek the views of our children through the use of Pupil Focus Groups so that this can be reflected in future practice and delivery of lessons.
Feedback focuses on topics such as:
Do you think Music is important? Why / Why not?
We learn music becauseā¦
What kind of music do you like?
How often do you listen to music?
Have you ever been to a concert?
How does music make you feel?
What do you enjoy about your musical experiences in school?
Is there anything that could be improved?
If you were a song, what song would you be and why?
