During our Music Appreciation focus week, the children got the opportunity to experiment with painting as a way to represent their feelings and emotions in response to what they had listened to.
The children looked at mixing colours and creating value in their art work which moved from abstract responses to more controlled and developed pieces.
The children also had an opportunity to use movement to show their responses through a series of freeze frames and tableaux.
This was not a trip for the faint hearted! The children jumped, pulled and
paddled their way through a number of challenges during their day out at
Mission Out. Children really tackled the Owlcotes elements of cooperation
and resilience as they completed problem solving challenges and faced
their fear on the Bag Jump!
