CARES Clinic

The CARES Clinic provides evidence-based psychological interventions, such as cognitive behavioral therapy for a variety of psychological disorders or problems, including but not limited to eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and adjustment disorder.

The CARES Clinic offers specialized eating disorder treatments for adolescents (age 15 and older) and adults with clinical eating disorders including  ARFID, disordered eating, and body image concerns, who are medically stable for outpatient treatments.

The CARES Clinic is staffed by doctoral students in the PhD Clinical Psychology Program at Hofstra University. These clinical trainees work under the supervision of the clinic director, Dr. Mun Yee Kwan.
