SEMESTER ONE 2026
GRAPHIC DESIGN
In Graphic Design, you'll dive into the dynamic world of graphic design, branding, and product packaging, with plenty of choice on how you approach each project. You could explore the fundamentals of logo design by creating unique logos for a company or brand of your choice, and you'll have the opportunity to print your designs as stickers, create t-shirts, or other branded products. This subject is a masterclass in design thinking, where you'll understand how design reflects society and influences consumer behaviour. Throughout the course, a series of workshops will be offered, allowing you to develop skills in areas like marketing campaigns and packaging design. This may look like designing a marketing campaign for the ‘comeback’ tour for a band or musician. Or you could learn how to master layout principles to create innovative packaging and posters. You’ll have hands-on experience with tools like Adobe Photoshop, Canva, 3D printing, laser cutting, or hand construction to bring your ideas to life.
Graphic Design is all about skill-building in the area of graphic and product design, giving you the freedom to explore your creativity, think critically, and communicate your ideas effectively in a fun and supportive environment.
