4th & 5th Grade After-school Book Club

Open to all current 4th and 5th grade students!  This after-school book club is offered free of charge, but registration is required.  Parents - please pick up your student at 4:30pm on Elm Street.  Students will read and discuss Fort by Cynthia DeFelice. Copies of the book will be provided to the students.


Thursdays, Now-May 30 (late registrants are welcome!)

3:30-4:30pm in the Intermediate School Library

Safety & Self-Defense for Youth 

Safety is about the situation, self-awareness, and self-defense. Learn the fundamentals, effective responses to practical situations, and experience hands-on exercises. This class includes discussion on boundaries, saying 'no', de-escalation, and the importance of taking care of ourselves. We will learn the most critical elements to keep us safe and practice self-awareness. We will also punch, kick, block, yell, and more. Build a strong foundation for strength and confidence.  Youth-focused, minimum age of 8 years old. Parents are welcome to watch. Students should dress comfortably.  Min 4/Max 20

Succulent Terrariums For Grades 1 & Older

Succulent terrarium gardens are the perfect way to enjoy a little bit of nature inside! You will get to play in the dirt and fill your container with colorful sand, rich soil, colorful pebbles, glass rocks and other fun accessories! You will plant 3 live succulents, and receive written instructions on how to maintain,

propagate and transplant your new terrarium. Some of the class time may be conducted outdoors (weather permitting).  Min 6/Max 15
