Hi, all. I wanted a place to drop in some wonderful resources to share with you all—so this is it! This is a work in progress!
I am in the process of adding new digital resources to these pages. Attached to this Resources page you will find additional pages of online sites to visit. There is a lot out there!
I expect to add much more, but this is a start.
The reason it's taking so long is that I am visiting each site, seeing how it works, trying to judge whether it's worth your time, and whether it seems suitable. They vary; some I like better than others. But if I don't feel a site has some educational worth, I won't include it.
Parents, although I've been there first, I expect that you will explore any sites yourselves, decide for yourselves, before you allow your children to use them. And perhaps, be within sight and hearing, if not direct supervision, at least the first few times your children use a site. This is the internet, after all: there's a lot out there, good and bad. And only you can decide what you think is suitable.
Of course, the wonderful slide collection that our own Sarah has curated remains just below. It contains activity ideas, with lots of variations—including many great sensory and nature-exploration activities from Jescie! Take a look:
