Mindfulness

Practicing mindfulness

Mindfulness is slowing down and noticing what is going on in your body and in your brain, without judgement. Practicing mindfulness can help your family feel calm and at peace. If your children is feeling angry, stressed or anxious encourage them to try out one of the mindfulness strategies below, and ask them how you feel afterwards!

Be the pond

Take slow pufferfish breaths

Breathe in as the fish floats up. Breathe out as the fish floats down.
