Your VILS Chromebook can run on WiFi or LTE. WiFi is a wireless technology that allows Chromebooks and other devices to connect to the internet. A WiFi signal is usually tied to a place like a school building or a house.
LTE is a wireless network for mobile devices such as cell phones and our VILS Chromebooks. With LTE, you can go anywhere you would have a cell-phone signal.
VILS Chromebooks currently have a 30 GB monthly limit.
To change between WiFi and LTE, click on the icon to the left of the clock in the bottom-right corner of your screen. For more help getting connected to data, go here.

The system for checking student data use is still being created by the national VILS team. Remember that your Chromebook uses data when the LTE icon is displayed.
Please use data as needed for classwork. When we are given further information we will share it with students via advisory classes and with families via email.
