This Problem-Based Lesson Implementation and Analysis explores a lesson related to division and fractions.
The task asks students to divide left over cake from an annual school event.
Included above is the complete lesson analysis. This lesson include the process of pre-planning, developing questions for class discussion, an analysis of the completed student work and a final reflection on the lesson. The reflection helped inform next steps for my instruction of the standards related to fractions. Below are examples of student work from this lesson.
