Dot Talk - Mini PD

This mini-PD was a short mini-lesson to re-engage teachers with the practice of Dot Talks. It was used as a launching off point for coaching/co-teaching/modeling in classrooms.  

The above mini-PD session includes a slide show that could be presented at a staff meeting, or PLC.  This PD allowed me to model best practices for teachers about how to engage students in a Dot Talk in class. It also then was an opportunity for me to follow up in classrooms with model lessons, or to support teachers with planning in PLCs. Notes for further discussion and background are also included in the slide deck presenter notes. Links are also included of supporting resources that teachers can use right away, or could be sent out as a follow up.
