Igor Golovkin leads the plasma radiation transport simulations in the ANGEL project. As Chief Technology Officer at Prism Computational Sciences, he drives the development of innovative radiation-hydrodynamics and synthetic diagnostics tools for high-energy-density plasma research. His work focuses on plasmas produced in high-power laser, Z-pinch, and ion beam experiments at major national laboratories and universities. Dr. Golovkin earned his MS in mathematical physics from Moscow State University and his Ph.D. in atomic and plasma physics from the University of Nevada, Reno. His expertise in high-performance computing and large-scale simulations is pivotal in advancing plasma science within the ANGEL project.
