Gennady Miloshevsky leads the multi-scale computational simulations of plasma-material interactions in the ANGEL project. He holds an MS in physics from Belarus State University and a Ph.D. from the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, with specialized training in atomic, molecular, and plasma physics complemented by strong expertise in mathematics and computer science. Over his distinguished career at Brandeis University, Purdue University, and now as an Associate Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University, Dr. Miloshevsky has advanced methods ranging from molecular dynamics and Monte Carlo simulations to DFT approaches. His multidisciplinary research elucidates the complex effects of plasma, lasers, and particle beams on materials across diverse environments.
