Fabrication Assistant

We are looking for an individual who can assist production personnel (Welders, Quality Control) in the performance of their jobs.

Job Duties include (but not limited to):

• Perform cutting, jigging, preparation and finishing work on the manufactured components as necessary and directed and in accordance with our blueprints. Familiarity with tools such as grinders, chop saw, plasma cutters, sander, etc.

• Sanding, grinding, bead blasting of stainless and aluminum production parts in accordance with our procedures and standards.

• Metal forming to make clamps, shrouds and similar parts. Installation of shrouds onto other subassemblies. 

• Must understand basic blueprint and measuring tools. Additional training can be provided.

• Ongoing development and improvement of our manufacturing facility.

• Ensuring that the shop and work areas are kept neat and orderly.

• Other duties as required.

• Maintain a high level of safety for self and coworkers.

• A practical skills assessment is required to be satisfactorily completed prior to job offer.

Job Type: Full-time

Pluses:  Knowledge or familiarity with TIG welding, Plasma Cutting, Operation of Press, Ram-forming machinery.  

Starting Pay: $17.00 up to $19.00 DOE
